Garment Care & Washing Instructions
To ensure the longevity and softness of your baby’s handmade clothing, please follow these care instructions:
-
Gentle Wash: Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold water.
-
Mild Detergent: Use a mild, baby-friendly detergent free from harsh chemicals and fragrances.
-
Avoid Bleach: Do not bleach or use any bleach-based products.
-
Drying: Air dry or lay flat to dry. Avoid using a tumble dryer to preserve the fabric's shape and softness.
-
Ironing: If needed, iron on a low heat setting to avoid damage to the fabric. Do not iron on any prints
-
Spot Cleaning: For small stains, gently spot clean with a damp cloth before washing.
Press Stud (Snap) Care:
-
Fastening: Always fasten the press studs by gently aligning and pressing them together. Do not force them, as this may damage the fabric or snap.
-
Opening: To open the press studs, carefully pull them apart, starting from one side to avoid stretching the fabric. Never yank or pull too quickly.
-
Avoid Overstretching: Be mindful not to overstretch the fabric when attaching or detaching the press studs, as this can weaken the fibers and cause tearing.
-
Storage: When storing the clothing, make sure the press studs are fastened to maintain their shape and prevent strain on the fabric.
By following these instructions, your baby’s handmade clothes will stay soft, comfortable, and looking beautiful.
